White Labs WLP004 Irish Stout

Directions

Mash schedule: heat water to 132 - 138 deg F steep grain for 20 minutes, drain and re-heat to 152 to 158 deg F. Steep grain for 1 hour, drain and boil. Add Perle boil hop for 90 minutes, add aroma hops for 15 minutes. I chilled to 70 deg and added yeast. Fermentation temperature was in the 72 to 78 deg F. range, bath tub with maximum water level, 7 days – transfer – 10 days.
