I started homebrewing in 2007. All it took was one simple pale ale extract kit to get me hooked. Kudos to my friend Ben for buying that kit and paving the way to the homebrew way of life. Since that time, I have made (or assisted) in more recipes than I can remember. I joined the club in March 2008 after discovering the ASH tent at Strong Beer Fest, and putting a couple recipes under my belt. Since that time, the club (and all the people in it) have been an invaluable resource in which to aid in the advancement of my brewing skills, equipment and technique. I never know when words of wisdom are going to come my way, so I try to make every meeting and participate in every event. I was ASH president in 2009 and am currently the secretary for 2010. I would have tried to be president again, but school will be taking up much of my time. Once school is over with, though, I'd like to have another go at it. That, and brew more :)
